It just hit me, that your make-up in this series makes me think of the original Slayer in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. (I'm currently watching the last season on DVD, so I've got Slayers on the brain...)

Ooooh, I watched Buffy many years ago, but it's been a long time. What character/image were you referring to? My memory is failing me (sometimes I feel like such an old woman). >< :D

The original Slayer was a character who appeared occasionally, usually in some kind of vision in which she appeared to Buffy. She was an African woman, who had been created to be the first Slayer, and all the other Slayers inherited her powers. I *think* she first appeared at the end of Season 4, after Buffy had been helped by Willow, Xander and Giles to defeat Adam, Buffy had dreams in which she was in the desert, where the first Slayer appeared to her. The episodes I just watched in Season 7 had the original Slayer appear to hear again, sort of as a quick hallucination or something...

I think it's the black rings under the eyes that really make it look similar (at least that's what caught my attention). But you *definitely* look less creepy (I mean, the First Slayer doesn't do any cute funny poses...) :D
